NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
Please be advised that NBM Railways and the City of Saint John will be conducting work at the railroad crossing on Sherbrooke Street in Saint John, New Brunswick beginning July 2.
The sidewalk will be closed to pedestrians from July 2 until July 16 and there will be periodic lane closures on Sherbrooke Street and Montreal Avenue. Traffic control personnel and signage will be in place. This closure is necessary to upgrade the crossing as part of the whistle cessation initiative.
Upon completion of the work, train whistles will continue to be used pending approval from the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure.
